Habistat Heat Strips are the same as our heat mats but narrower and so are more suitable to smaller boxes.

They are ideal for smaller terrariums that are being used for juvenile snakes and some other reptiles.

The principles of use are the same as those for mats and the same precautions should be exercised.

In small enclosures the heat build up can be very quick. The temperature should be adequately monitored and controlled with a HabiStat thermostat.

Heat Strips are ideal for rack systems or heating lots of hatchling tubs. (see picture 2).
