Habistat High Range Dimmer Thermostat

The Habistat High Range Dimmer Thermostat is designed for desert reptiles like bearded dragons and Uromastyx. Desert reptiles like these naturally live under the burning glare of the sun with very little shelter and so they are exposed to much higher temperatures than rainforest counterparts who seek shelter under leaves and cloud cover.

Overview:

The Habistat High Range Dimmer is a specially designed thermostat for reptile enclosures with the highest temperatures such as the desert habitats of bearded dragons and Uromastyx. It is a perfect themostat for a range of heating devices.

It is perfect for devices like reptile basking spot lights but can also be used for any heat-emitting light bulb.

This thermostat goes up to 40 (104) degrees whereas the regular Habistat Dimming Thermostat only goes up to 32 (92) degrees and would therefore be more suitable for rainforest reptiles such as crested geckos.

Unlike some thermostats, it does require a minimum load of 40w, but has a maximum capacity of 600W at 230 volts.
