Arcadia Natural Sunlight Lamps provide snakes and reptiles with the healthy UV light they need.

UV energy is very important to reptiles as it provides them with vitamin D3 which in turn gives their bones the calcium they need.

When a pet reptile is taken away from natural sun it becomes calcium deficient and this light is the solution.

The Arcadia reptile lamp range has been created in order to allow reptiles and other exotic pets to be properly maintained without the health problems related to poor calcium metabolism.

Some reptiles such as snakes get some of these vitamins from their food, but others, iguanas for instance - gain all of their vitamin D3 from UV light, and so are totally reliant on it.

These species should be kept under and appropriate sized D3 lamp, which has a higher content of UV light.
