Live Food Locust Pre-Pack Now Available at Swell Reptiles.

Locusts are very different to crickets, and make a good alternative food source for most insectivorous reptiles. They are slower moving, and more suitable for reptiles with movement problems and disabilites.

Their higher protein level is also beneficial for egg laying lizards. Like with all foods, it is vital they are in optimum condition and your locusts will need feeding just like your reptile.

You can feed your locusts a variety of fruit and vegetables; alternatively you can try a number of the quality foods available on this site. It is also important to remember to dust your locusts on a regular basis with a good quality calcium supplement and a vitamin and mineral supplement.
