Reptile Substrates

Swell offer a range of reptile bedding and tortoise bedding including reptile substrates, corn snakes substrates and tortoise substrate as well as a selection of other ranges to help your pet feel at home.

The newest addition to our range is Swell Premium, our own brand which offers cheaper products when compared with the more expensive brands. The quality is just as good, but without the fancy packaging. All our own brand substrates are compostable.

It is important you select your substrate, heating and humidity sources carefully to reflect the natural environment your reptile would have.

For your conveniance we have dividied the substrates into Desert, Rainforest and Incubation substrates.

Our desert substrates include calcium sand, and dry woody bedding like aspen. They are aimed at bearded dragons, leopard geckos and other reptiles that originate in a dry, arid environment.

Our rainforest substrates are the kind of bedding that hold a lot of moisture, such as bark, coconut husk and moss. Rainforest substrates are perfect for crested geckos, tree frogs and salamanders.
