ProRep Crestie Life 10ltrs

This ProRep substrate has been formulated to help keep up humidity and prevent stagnant air from building up in Crested gecko enclosures, using the open structure design of the substrate.

It also helps with pH levels, aiming to maintain them at a lower level, giving a more acidic structure which helps with the growth of bacteria, all helping to promote growth of live animals, such as springtails or woodlice which could be added, who maintain the cleanliness of the terrarium.

The great design of the Crestie LIFE means that it will hold water very well, helping to maintain humidity, and also is great for incubator medium. The rich soil helps with plant growth, and so its ideal for planted drainage systems, giving a brilliant effect and natural look.

Directions

• Can be used solely in a vivarium for substrate.
• Should be kept damp to allow humidity to reach correct levels, though not waterlogged.
• Ideally used with an underneath layer of drainage to allow water reservoir to keep humidity levels as required.
• For planted set ups, use a deeper layer of substrate to allow root growth.
