What are the features of the vivarium included in this starter kit?

The VivExotic Repti-Home (AAL) Bearded Dragon Vivarium Large Oak with Vent included in the Platinum Plus kit measures 120 x 62.5 x 62.5 cm providing ample space for your Bearded dragon as it offers your reptile more height and depth. Easy to assemble, this wooden vivarium comes in a stylish Oak finish to coordinate with your existing home decor.

This Bearded dragon vivarium features a new vent at the top to allow the heat bulb dome included to sit on top of the vivarium, saving space internally. This removes the view of unsightly equipment from inside your vivarium and allows more room for decor in your reptile enclosure.

VivExotic Repti-Home vivariums are made with sustainable timber that retains heat and toughened sliding glass doors. Ventilation slots in the rear panel ensure a steady flow of air while also allowing easy access to connect your heating and other reptile equipment through the vents without needing to remove any plugs.

We recommend purchasing the matching vivarium cabinet to give your vivarium the support it needs. As well as completing your setup, a vivarium cabinet allows you to store all your reptile essentials close by.

What other reptile equipment comes in the Platinum Plus kit?

As well as a wooden vivarium and reptile lighting, the Swell Bearded Dragon Starter Kit includes a dimming thermostat that allows you to set the temperature to a precise level while protecting the element from overheating, ensuring both you and your Bearded dragon are safe at all times. This can be checked with the included infrared thermometer which enables you to quickly and efficiently check your specific basking temperatures, as well as ensure the temperature gradient within the vivarium is correct.

A 150W Swell Neodymium Daylight Spot Lamp is included in the kit. This basking lamp is ideal for desert species. As for UV lighting, we have included the Arcadia ProT5 UV Kit, which includes a UV bulb, the controller and a reflector, which is just screwed into the lid of the vivarium. This helps to create a natural daylight environment with a realistic spectrum and ensures they are kept in the best of health when used alongside the included calcium dust and vitamin supplements.

The substrate included is perfect for desert reptiles are it’s designed to replicate the dry, high-temperature natural environment they need so they can thrive. To recreate a Bearded dragon's natural habitat, a selection of plants is included in the Platinum Plus starter kit. Artificial plants require no upkeep and always look like they're in bloom, so you can be certain your enclosure will always look the best.

In addition to the large food and water bowl and two caves (one for each end of your reptile enclosure), your Beardie will have a warm and cold hiding spot, as well as a safe and secure environment throughout their enclosure.
