Open wounds can be a problem for your reptiles as they can lead to potential rots due to bacterial or viral infections which makes first aid products such as Vetark Tamodine essential to keep in your reptile's first aid box

While wound cleaners that contain iodine can be effective, they can sometimes irritate the wounds and surrounding flesh and skin, which gives Tamodine the advantage when caring for your injured reptiles

How do you use the Vetark Tamodine Wound Cleanser?

FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY: Apply Tamodine using wet cotton wool and clean the surface of the wound gently and carefully ensuring you don't hurt the reptile. Once the wound has been cleansed, ensure that you wipe off any excess

Do NOT use this with amphibians as they have a different skin type

Don't forget - this can be a great first aid tool, but if the wound is not healing or your reptile is particularly injured, nothing compares to having your reptile seen by a good vet as soon as possible.
