The Lucky Reptile Heat Thermo Mat, emits infrared radiation which heats up objects in your terrarium and also acts like the sun's rays heating up the reptile.

The infrared radiation of the heat mat penetrates the skin of the animals and creates a cosy warmth that the reptiles find comforting.

Like the sun in nature the infrared heat warms up objects to the touch but doesn't heat the air around them too much.
