It's a bit hard. My tortoise will only eat it if it is soaked in water for a long time then sprinkled over his usual food. -

My Hermann’s is still getting used to grassland pellets I only ever use a few of them once a week just to add a variety, mainly use weeds and grasses but in winter these are a fantastic way to add to make up for the lack of fresh weeds -
