Pythons, Boas, Corn snakes, Hognose snakes and King snakes only make up a small portion of all of the Serpent suborder. Snakes live on almost every continent of the planet and in every habitat meaning they have adapted to almost any environment, leading to some incredibly unique species.

What are Other Snakes?

The group of animals known as Snakes are a part of the reptile class which is made up of thousands of species and subspecies. Snakes are extremely common around the world and are often kept by reptile keepers as they make interesting and rewarding pets. The conditions Snakes like to be kept in varies greatly depending on their species but they can enjoy everything from high and dry heat to warm and wet tropical climates. There are no herbivorous snakes, meaning that they all survive on a diet of meat.

Why should I buy Other Snakes?

Snakes make brilliant pets, they come in a wide range of colours and sizes, all of which are extremely rewarding to keep due to their unique behaviours. We can’t guarantee any specific snake as we operate on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. What should I look for?

We regularly have other snakes for sale at our Swell Aquatic and Reptile Center. You will be given a quick interview and asked to show some pictures of the enclosure you wish to keep your Snake in. We reserve the right to refuse adoption to anyone we believe is unprepared to look after their pet.
