The Uromastyx is one of the lesser-known pet lizards, sometimes known as spiny-tailed lizards, dabb lizards or nicknamed “uros.”

Bearded dragons may be the most popular pet lizard, but geckos are not far behind. By far the most popular is the leopard gecko.

The Leopard Geckos (Eublepharis macularius) are native to the rocky, dry grassland and desert areas of Afghanistan, Pakistan, northern India and Iran.
