Mega-Ray Mercury Vapour Lamps

Mega-Ray Mercury Vapour 70w: The same great qualities that have made the Mega-Ray name one of the best in the industry is also incorporated in this mini UVB bulb. This bulb measuring only 3" wide and 4.5" long needs to be given the same respect when using, as the rest of the Mega-Ray range. Producing only 70 watts of heat they can be used in smaller habitats then the other Mega-Ray UV bulbs. Juvenile turtles, tortoises and lizards love this bulb! This is also a great avian and snake UVA-UVB source.

Mega-Ray Mercury Vapour 100w & 160w : These lamps are Mega-Ray's SB Par-38 narrow flood lamps which have been shown in tests to produce similar amounts of UVB to natural sunlight! True flood lamps, these bulbs will disperse usable UVB in a 30" circumference at a 20" distance.

Mega-Ray Mercury Vapour 275w: This lamp is Mega-Ray's 275 watt SB Par-38 narrow flood lamp which produces more UVB and UVA than the standard Mega-Ray 100 & 160 watt lamp, along with more heat, and can therefore be used at greater recommended distances. It will disperse usable UVB in a 30" circumference at a 34" distance.

Mega-Ray recommend that most people with UVB meters will get 18 months use out of their SB bulbs, and they have a warranty period of 6 months.
