What is a HabiStat Standard 2ft Oak Vivarium?

The Habistat Standard 2ft Oak Vivariums are high-quality reptile vivariums that are designed to offer a secure home to hatchlings and invertebrates. The vivariums are made from 18mm thick melamine and toughened glass doors which offer enhanced durability for your pet without compromising on the look of the overall enclosure. These units are designed with lots of handy features for reptile keepers, including offset ventilation holes and the new HabiStat large vent.

The vivarium comes in an oak or black finish. This model has a classic oak finish, which offers a natural look that complements vivarium decor. However, we also offer this vivarium in a black finish for a more subtle look that directs attention to the interior of your vivarium. No matter which finish you choose, you can be certain that this vivarium will look fantastic as either a stand-alone display or part of a stack. The entire kit is delivered flat-packed and is easy to assemble with the included Allen key and step-by-step instructions.

What are the features of this vivarium?

This vivarium stands out from other models thanks to the large front panel in the sliding glass doors, which is designed to conceal unsightly lighting hardware and substrate layers. The panels also have offset ventilation holes that ensure air is circulated correctly around the vivarium. Moving to the rear of the unit, the HabiStat Vent is a unique vent that has built-in cable management, to allow hardware to be fed through while keeping your pet safe and secure. Finally, the glass doors are also tested to a Kite Mark BS6206A standard to ensure they are suitable for use under high-heat conditions.
