What is NT Labs Aquarium AxoTonic?

NT Labs Aquarium AxoTonic is a balanced salt mixture that helps to reduce occurrence and supports recovery from fungal infections by creating the optimal water conditions for your axolotl. This is a balanced salt mixture that adjusts the pH, KH and GH of your tap water, or DI/RO water while also adding trace elements that are vital for Axolotl health.

How do I use NT Labs Aquarium AxoTonic?

NT Labs Aquarium AxoTonic should be added to your aquarium during set up, and when adding fresh tap water, for example, during a water change.

• Calculate the volume of your aquarium in litres using this formula: length x width x depth (in cm)/1000
• Test the GH of your water using a GH test kit. The GH test result will affect the dose rate, which is specified on the back of the packaging
• Shake the bag thoroughly before use
• When adding to a new aquarium, fill with water and add the required dose directly to the aquarium. If the aquarium already contains an axolotl, add this dose slowly over the course of 5 days to avoid stressing the axolotl
• When completing a water change, calculate the volume of new water being added and mix the required dose to the new water. The required dose is only for the volume of new water being added. Do not dose for the full aquarium volume
