The Komodo Dry Mix Foods come with a choice of Fruit or Leaf, each with their own benefits. With all supplementary feeding products, these should be offered as additions to their main diet, and should not be used as their staple diet. These should be stored in a cool dry container.
The Fruit Mix combines a selection of Dandelion Leaf, Aronia Berries, Redcurrants and Strawberry's, and is ideal for providing additional vitamins and minerals, as well aiding in the digestive system.
Dandelion is great to reduce the quantity of fluids in animals, and also helps to lower blood pressure and blood-sugar levels. It is rich in magnesium, so dandelion is also helpful in treating urine infections and aids the functioning of the liver.
Why Aronia Berries?
Aronia berries (also known as Chokeberries) are an ideal source of many vitamins, micronutrients, fibres and anthocyanins, all of which help to neutralize the harmful actions of free radicals in the body. They can also help regulate blood pressure.
A real vitamin snack, dried strawberries are full of vitamin C and a range of B vitamins, as well as providing essential support to the digestive system helping to prevent constipation.
Redcurrants are a valuable and tasty snack which are rich in potassium.
