Help and advice on shopping for: Chameleons for sale

Adopt a cunning Chameleon

With the ability to change colour and project their tongues, Chameleons sound more like superheroes than animals. It’s easy to see why they are beloved by many reptile keepers and make incredible pets to watch and interact with. Adopting a Chameleon is a very rewarding experience that can be a highlight of a reptile keeping hobby.

What are Chameleons?

The term Chameleon does not refer to a single species, it’s actually a larger group of reptiles that are all able to change colour and project their tongues. The size of chameleons can vary greatly but they generally are quite territorial and need a lot of air flowing through their enclosure. Most Chameleons are also arboreal, which means they come from a forest habitat, so require vertically orientated enclosures with lots of climbing space.

Why should I buy a Chameleon?

Chameleons aren't cuddly pets, most do not like to be handled at all and all can be territorial. However, Chameleons make incredible pets to watch and feed. Thanks to their unique abilities, they can be very interesting to watch as they interact with their enclosure, changing colour depending on their surroundings and emotions. Chameleons can be a little tricky to set up, as their enclosure often needs a climbing element, moderate-high humidity levels and a high airflow, but once the initial set-up is complete they are fairly affordable and easy to keep.

What are the main types of Chameleon?

We have several types of Chameleon for sale including the Panther chameleon, Jackson's chameleon and Yemen chameleon.
