Help and advice on shopping for: Terrestrial Gecko Substrates

What is the best substrate for a Leopard Gecko?

When should I change my terrestrial gecko's substrate?

The substrate in your terrestrial gecko’s enclosure should be replaced every 4-6 weeks, or sooner if it becomes soiled. It's important to regularly spot clean any waste and uneaten food to maintain a clean, healthy environment. If you're using coconut fibre or coco substrate, they generally last longer but should be replaced if they start to smell or become too wet.
