What kind of decorations can I add to my tortoise enclosure?

Can I add live plants to my tortoise enclosure?

Yes, it’s possible to add live plants to tortoise enclosures, particularly hardy varieties like spider plants and montstera. That said, as voracious vegetarians tortoises will chow down on these plants if given the opportunity. For this reason, it’s a good idea to place them in pots that your tortoise can’t access or suspend them above your tortoise’s enclosure.
