What is Hikari Mulberific Delite?

Hikari Mulberific Delite offers a scientifically formulated pellet that is ideal for tortoises and herbivorous lizards, such as Iguanas. This pellet is probiotic-enhanced and offers a fibre-rich diet that is nutritionally balanced.

What are the benefits of this feed?

This is a nutritionally balanced food that can be fed alone, though we would always recommend a varied diet with other additions, including vegetables. It is fibre rich whilst being low in protein, and includes a high level of calcium, offering a 5:1 calcium: phosphorus ratio, ideal for tortoises. There are no added colours to the pellet, just natural ingredients and high flavour which makes it a big hit. 

How do I feed my reptiles with this feed?

Ideally, this should be fed daily by first soaking the pellets in fresh water for 5 minutes before offering them to your reptile, which allows each pellet to fully hydrate and obtain the best texture. This addition of water to the pellet improves hydration in your pet, meaning less chance of urinary tract issues and good all-around health. The pellet has a sponge-like texture that easily absorbs the water and retains it, in order to pass this hydration through to your reptile.

As with all Hikari foods, the Mulberific Delite boasts of an added probiotic formula to help support the immune system and the digestive system, whilst also helping to reduce faeces odour, so a win-win for pets and owners alike.
