Help and advice on shopping for: Bearded Dragon Feeding Equipment

What should I feed my Bearded Dragon?

You should feed your Bearded Dragon a mixture of live insects and plants, including leafy greens and some fruits/vegetables. How much you feed them depends on their size and their appetite. When they’re young and still growing, you should feed them once or twice daily. When they’re adults, you should feed them less often so they don’t put on too much weight. It’s important that you vary your Bearded Dragon’s diet, offering them insects on some days and leafy greens on other days.

How should I feed my Bearded Dragon?

The best way to feed your Bearded Dragon is by placing their food in a feeding dish and letting them do the rest. That way you won’t disrupt them while they’re basking, or risk injuring them (or yourself) by trying to hand-feed them. It’s recommended that, prior to feeding, you add some multivitamin and calcium supplements to your Bearded Dragon’s food in order to make sure they get everything they need to maintain their immune system.

What Bearded Dragon feeding equipment do I need?

As well as adding a feeding dish to your Bearded Dragon’s enclosure, you should also consider adding a water dish. These little reservoirs provide your Bearded Dragon with a source of water that they can drink and/or bathe in. Their shallow construction means that tortoises can easily access them and aren’t at any risk from drowning inside them. For more Bearded Dragon accessories, click here!
